St. David Community: You may have been asked already to sign up and donate blood at the coming blood drive but if not, here is your invitation! Mrs. Jacquez's students are getting a grade for this, so please help!
Also, in the past, a student from our school has received a $500 scholarship because of the amount of blood that is donated at our drives. This year they have increased that to $1000 if we collect at least 51 pints! At the spring drive we collected 47 pints, which is our record! BUT.... if we collect 54 pints (a new record) at this drive, the scholarship goes up to $1500! We can bless 3 students with $500 for college! AND we are saving lives!! It doesn't get better than that! Sign up and get your family there to donate as well!
Each Power Red Donation counts as 2 pints towards our total and they are giving us 8 donation spots for power red! They believe in our students and our blood drives! Please help us! If you have questions about Power Red donations please let Mrs. Jacquez know.

Parents of Student Athletes:
Please review the following excerpt from our Athletic Handbook as a reminder of our attendance policy for athletes on game days:
Any team member who misses any part of the day will not be allowed to participate in a game on that date. To participate in practice any team member must be present for 65% of the school day. Prior permission from the school can be an exception to this rule. In order to ensure the safety of the participant, an illness will not be an excusable reason unless medically verified by a doctor or dentist. Only pre arrangements with Administration can excuse any other absence.
To pre approve your child's absence on a game day or practice, please contact Heather Richardson, Athletic Secretary 520-720-4781 x107.
Sincerely,
St. David Schools Athletics Department
Parents,
This message is notification that a scheduled Lockdown Drill was performed throughout campus this morning.
The safety of your child and all children in our schools, as well as the safety of the school staff and support personnel is very important to us. In order to maintain a safe environment for our children to study and learn, it is necessary that we practice our emergency response plans by having drills designed to exercise our procedures.
Sincerely,
St. David Schools Administration
