Let's take a moment to recognize all of the incredible 3rd-8th grade students who competed in this year's spelling bee. We are so proud of their efforts - well done to all!
Coming in third place, with an amazing performance was fourth grade student, Faye Mayberry. Then, after 16 intense rounds of competition between seventh grade students Kimber Merrill and Logan Kartchner, Logan emerged as our 2025 Spelling Bee champion after correctly spelling noncommittal and algebraic. This is Logan's second year in a row to win our district spelling bee.
Join us in congratulating these great spellers and wishing Logan the best of luck in the Cochise County Spelling Bee on February 8. Keep practicing!
We give a huge shout out and thanks to our Pronouncer, Robin Fenn, Judges Rachel Rausch and Randy Crum, Recorder Natalie Judd and Coordinator Barbie Grapp. We couldn’t have a spelling bee without you! And last but not least we give thanks to our hardworking maintenance crew, Wilfredo Martinez and Mike Gudyka, for setting up including last minute adjustments. We greatly appreciate all you do!
