St. David

SkillsUSA St. David attended the 2024 Southern Arizona Construction Career Day in Tucson. This event is designed to provide career exploration for students within the construction industry, including trades, infrastructure, utilities, engineering, design and architecture and more. The students were introduced to careers with interactive and hands-on activities. They participated in many different trades from helping build walls for a mini house to servicing natural gas meters. They played excavator basketball and went up in a bucket truck. Several employers in attendance were impressed with our students. They are more empowered to become skilled professionals and career-ready leaders!
